A kiwi in the land of Kiwis: Robert, the head of the Animal Recovery Centre in Whageri, shows us a 6-week-old kiwi named Amiga. Mary held it, too. We also saw kiwis a day old and 6 days old. Rescued kiwis are released into the wild at about 9 months.
